114 Spring
This project with V10 was initially very similar to the 600, seeking to build good quality, less expensive housing for Everett. But unlike the 600, which is at the heart of a vibrant urban corridor, 114 Spring would be surrounded by vacant and post industrial sites ‘full of potential’ but probably not developed quickly. A waiting game had already been ongoing, with many landowners wanting to see others test the viability of redeveloping here while sitting on their potential projects. Together with the visionaries at V10, we determined that a really bold strategy would have to be led the way. Literally, the night before we had our first on-site discussion with a few planners from the city, we decided to propose this landmark, as a catalyst to ignite and inspire those around us who love Everett.
