Weymouth, MA; completed 2024 | This mini-courtyard building is featured on a prominent site along Washington Street in Weymouth with the defining feature of a thirty foot rock ledge at the rear of the property. When we received this project, it had an original design pre-approved with the city but further design meetings with the city revealed their hesitancy on the original design. So, we tossed out the aesthetic, and turned the courtyard toward the street, and broke down the scale of what was one of the biggest buildings in this context. The design and effort were greatly appreciated, and the rest of the approval process was pretty smooth.
