26 Willis
26 Willis is a new construction that the neighbors felt very strongly should look like it had been there for generations. It’s a street with big geometrical bays and prominent decks. While working with Elevated, we were able to come up with this design. Our favorite part about it has to be how it is sometimes brought up in neighborhood meetings where we are talking about other projects, and probably don’t know that we were involved in this design. More than once I’ve heard “why can’t you do something that fits in the neighborhood like that building on the corner of Willis and Bakersfield?”
