Blu Karma

Danvers, MA; pending construction | We met Evan and his team at Blu Karma a few years ago, and we drew up plans to expand the restaurant quickly. Unfortunately, as is often the case, the process of getting approval from the city was slowed due to the inability to expand the parking in tandem to the added seats due to limitations of the site. The design was and investment was welcomed by the city through its combination of adherence to the city’s downtown corridor design guidelines to resemble “traditional New England downtowns” with the natural materials and expressions of an eastern-adjacent architectural language.
