Soul City Church

Chicago, IL; completed 2017 | Located at 1130 West Adams in Chicago, the Soul City Church expansion and renovation is a strategic expansion project that seamlessly integrates an existing footprint with modern growth. The design unifies a 22,000-square-foot building—upgraded with extensive exterior masonry restorations, window replacements, and newly optimized interiors—with a striking 30,000-square-foot addition. Conceived as two distinct masses, the new addition expands the campus to over 52,000 gross square feet. Driven by a highly disciplined, cost-conscious approach to construction, the completed facility delivers an expansive, cohesive space capable of welcoming a congregation of over 2,100 people.
